The Invictus Games Foundation announces ITV as UK broadcast partner for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025

ITV has partnered with the Invictus Games Foundation as the official UK broadcaster for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 presented by ATCO and Boeing. This exciting collaboration will bring the inspirational stories and extraordinary athleticism of the Games to audiences across the UK, celebrating the resilience and determination of wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans.

The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025, set to take place from February 6 to February 17, 2025, will feature over 500 competitors from 23 nations competing in adaptive sports ranging from wheelchair rugby to alpine skiing. The Invictus Games not only highlight the incredible strength and camaraderie of its participants but also inspire communities worldwide to recognize the power of recovery through sport.

Nine daily highlight shows will be available on ITVX across the duration of the Games, which will include the Opening Ceremony music acts.

The Royal British Legion along with the UK MOD will be supporting this partnership, showcasing Team UK’s preparation and participation in the Invictus Games. Through exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes features, viewers will have the opportunity to connect with the journey of Team UK competitors and their friends and family.

Team UK Captain Steve ‘Hoops’ Hooper, who departs for Canada next Thursday said: “Team UK is so excited to be going to Canada and knowing everyone at home can tune into ITV to watch the Invictus Games is brilliant news! The Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 will mark a historic moment as it integrates adaptive winter sports for the first time, including skiing and snowboarding events. ITV’s coverage will bring all the action and heartfelt moments directly to UK audiences, ensuring the Games’ message of recovery and unity resonates far and wide, setting the foundations for the future Invictus Games Birmingham 2027.
