Join us in our Lap of Holland

Join the Invictus Family in our attempt to complete a virtual circumnavigation of The Netherlands in just 24 hours! Walk, Run, Wheel, Cycle, Row, or Swim and add your distances to the tally.

This physical challenge marks the fact that, even though it has been postponed due to the pandemic, we will be welcoming teams to The Hague, Netherlands in 2022 for the fifth Invictus Games. The aim is to collectively complete a full lap of The Netherlands – 919 miles – within a 24hr period. Every individual will contribute to the total by exercising in their location then inputting the distance covered.

You can undertake the challenge as an individual and simply contribute to the grand total, or you might choose to join a national team, a team specifically for Friends and Family of serving personnel and veterans, a team for healthcare workers. There is also the option to form your own team, drawn from your own community, workplace, unit or school.

When exercising, please do so only within the limits of your fitness and level of experience with any equipment required to complete the challenge. This challenge may be conducted by running, walking, wheeling, cycling, rowing or swimming with the aid of any device that records time and distance: treadmills, rowing machines, static cycling machines, etc are all perfectly acceptable. When exercising outside please make sure you wear the appropriate protection and stay visible and ensure that you adhere to any restrictions that are currently in place as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
