THE INVICTUS GAMES

The Invictus Games is the only international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and women. The first Invictus Games took place in London in 2014. Since then, a number of cities have been selected to host future Games. Find out more below about the first two Games and where the Invictus Games are going next around the world.

The Invictus Games use the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect for wounded, injured and sick Servicemen and women.

The inaugural Invictus Games was held in London from 10-14 September 2014 and was attended by over 400 competitors from 13 nations. In May 2016, Orlando in Florida hosted the second Invictus Games with 500 competitors from 14 nations taking part.
